Benefit Concert: Ukes for Good
MAUI Mad City Ukes Presents, “Ukes for Good: A Fundraising Concert for the Victims of the Monona Hills Apartments Fire”
In the early morning hours on Saturday, March 18, a massive fire displaced dozens of residents living in the 70-unit Monona Hills Apartments. On Friday, June 9, at 7:00 p.m. the Madison Area Ukulele Initiative (MAUI) Mad City Ukes will be performing a fundraising concert at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 5700 Pheasant Hill Road, in Monona Wisconsin, for the victims of the fire. The event will feature performances by the MAUI Mad City Ukes, the Front Porch String Band, the Sunshine Sisters, and Badfish Creek. All proceeds from the event will go towards helping the victims of the March fire at the Monona Hills Apartments.
