Longest Night Worship

Join us on December 21st at 6:30 as we create a sacred space for people to observe the “Longest Night.” This is the day of the Winter Solstice, where we see more hours of darkness than of light, and it gives us an opportunity to come together for prayers and laments, without the expectation and pressure of overwhelming “holiday cheer.” This reflective worship accepts us all where we really are, even if we feel as though we are in dark times. Whether you are dealing with a personal loss or grief, or struggling with the global issues of war and conflict, we invite you to hope against hope-through your doubts and through your fears.

This service is a collaborative effort with St. Stephen’s, Common Grace and Lake Edge Lutheran churches. It will be held in St. Stephen’s Sanctuary at 6:30 on December 21st.

The event is finished.
